Xiangtan Daily and Xin Xiangtan Client reported on March 29 that a workshop on the development of industrial and commercial energy storage and the 2025 China Industrial Transfer and Development Matching Activities Xiangtan sub-venue was held at the Lihe Science and Technology Innovation Changzhu-Tan Innovation Base on March 29 to respond to the call for energy conservation and emission reduction and promote the construction of zero-carbon and low-carbon parks. The event was jointly organized by the Xiangtan High-tech Zone Management Committee, the Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, the Municipal Industrial Technology Collaborative Innovation Research Institute, and the Hunan Provincial Tsinghua University Alumni Association's Vehicle and New Energy Branch. It attracted a number of representatives from upstream and downstream enterprises in the energy storage industry chain, as well as alumni enterprises and representatives from Tsinghua University and Central South University, to jointly explore new paths for the high-quality development of the energy storage industry.

The event aims to bring together enterprises and expert think tanks from the upstream and downstream of the industrial and commercial energy storage industry chain to jointly exchange and discuss issues in the research, development, production, and application of the industrial and commercial energy storage industry, with a view to promoting technological breakthroughs and industry development. As the "host," Xiangtan High-tech Zone, relying on the "two advantages, three characteristics, and one integration" industrial pattern, has formed an energy storage industry chain ranging from material research and development to system integration, with benchmark enterprises such as Hunan Gaorui Power Supply and Hunan Galaxy New Energy. It is accelerating the development of a "clean energy industrial park" and building a zero-carbon smart park demonstration scenario. In the future, the park will focus on supporting the research and development of key technologies such as high-safety battery cells, build an ecological closed loop based on platforms such as the Lihe Science and Technology Innovation Base, and optimize policy support to facilitate the implementation of energy storage projects.

At the event, Hunan Lihe Changzhu-Tan Innovation Center, Central South University Alumni Online Home, and Hunan Provincial Tsinghua University Alumni Association's Vehicle and New Energy Branch introduced their science and technology innovation service and alumni resource integration platforms. Nine entrepreneurs participated in the theme sharing and discussion exchange session. Zhou Jinbo, general manager of Hunan Lihe Houpu Technology Co., Ltd., shared the short-process recycling technology for power batteries, whose innovative model can reduce the cost of battery regeneration by more than 30%; Xiamen Xinan An Technology proposed a "2.0 solution" for industrial and commercial energy storage, promoting industry safety and performance upgrades. After the workshop, participants also conducted field visits to the Lihe Science and Technology Innovation Changzhu-Tan Innovation Base and Hunan Xilaike Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd.
It is understood that Xiangtan High-tech Zone has built the first academician innovation industrial park in Central South China and has carried out in-depth cooperation with universities such as Tsinghua University and Central South University. This workshop has built an important bridge for the park's energy storage industry technology research and development, achievement transformation, and project implementation, and will further strengthen the collaborative innovation advantages of the Changzhu-Tan region in the field of new energy.
